Playing Bigger

Where in your life are you playing small?

Most of us don't just wake up living life at our full potential. It takes work, ambition and a fearless drive to get there. What holds us back are limiting beliefs, self sabotage and fear. But in a world where there are inevitably going to be external obstacles, we need to get out of our own ways and allow our lights to shine brightly.

The truth is, we all have areas where we are holding back and playing small.

  • Has there been occasions in your life when things were going well and you sabotaged them?
  • Do you have a scarcity mindset or an abundant one?
  • Do you think that if you imagine the worst, you're prepared for it if it comes?
  • If you imagine the best and put your all in, does it feel more scary if you were to fall short of this?

If you can answer yes to any of these questions, I really encourage you to allow yourself to think big and play big.

You don't know what you're really capable of when you're boxing yourself in and playing small.

Fear holds us back from being our best selves and fear feeds on self doubt, so believe.

I offer you all an enquiry:
What are you really capable of in this area where you're playing small if you gave it 100%, got out of your own way and removed self doubt and fear from the equation?

I'll leave you with this wonderful quote by Marianne Williamson

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
~Marianne Williamson
